Night Owl

Scott and Logan got home right after I did yesterday. Scott went cut a yard, so it was just me and Logan. Nona said he hadn’t had a bottle since two o’clock that afternoon, so I figured he wanted a snack. HE DID…and so did Baxter. As usual, Baxter sits very close to Logan’s high chair because he knows something will eventually fall onto the floor. NOT this time… Logan figured out that Baxter would eat from his hand. Logan took a cinnamon puff and fed it to Baxter. He did that for a while before he decided to just start throwing them on the floor.

Once Scott got home, I left to go play Pokeno with my sister and most of her sister-n-laws. We all played together about two years ago, and I would usually come in the money. NOT this year! We’ve only played twice and I’ve won the booby prize both times. I guess if you are not going to win money, it’s best to come in last place. Last month, I got a plant for my office and this time I got purple/gold fleur-de-lis coasters (from Lancaster house). Now that I think about it, I should have taken a picture. OH WELL!

So I get home around 9:30 and little man is still awake. I think we have a little night owl on your hands. Logan didn’t fall asleep until 10:30 p.m. – 10:45p.m. AND he wouldn’t let me rock him to sleep again. I had to put him in his chair and strap him down. If not, I think he would have played for hours. I would get him and attempt to rock him, but he’d squirm his way back down onto the floor. We did this all night long…. Instead of sleeping, he decided to get every toy out of the basket and throw it on the floor. I think the basket was next.

OH… I slept on the couch last night. After Logan feel asleep in his chair, I picked him up and went to his bed. We’ll he squirmed so much on the way to his room; he woke up. SO, when I placed him in his bed he started crying. NOPE.. I’m not playing that game. I just put him back in his chair and laid on the couch. He fell back to sleep immediately and so did I.

What can I say... Life with Logan...there's never a dull moment.
