What a Full Day

Daddy has a habit of laying stuff around. Therefore, I took the opportunity to play "dress up" first thing this morning.

Afterwards, mommy made us some breakfast - toast, grits and milk.

After breakfast, we all went fishing off the pier. Actually, daddy fished, I watched from my wagon and mommy sat next to me. Daddy caught alot of sac-a-lac!!! Yummy.

See, here's proof....

It was really hot outside. I either drank the water or poured it all over myself.

After that, I took a three hour nap! Yeap, I woke up full of entergy. So, I took a little dip in the pool.

I LOVE this dog!!!!!

Friday Night In Stephensville

So we get to the camp and the grass is ten feet tall!!! After we unload the truck, Scott starts cutting the grass. He may not be wearing the typical "Cajun Reeboks", but I think it's close enough. Now ladies....prepare yourself.

Yea, I know - I'm one lucky lady!!! Now I know this is a blog about Logan, but this IS Logan role model.

After that, we decided to fish off the pier. Mommy and daddy caught some fish (brim, catfish and bass). Daddy put one really close to my face, and I thought that fish was hailarious. While mommy and daddy fished, I ate my lil' crunchies - I LOVE those things.

It was getting late, so mommy and daddy decided to go pickup some dinner. It's Friday night in Stephensville, so that usually means dinner at Sonic. I don't know why we eat there all the time, but we do (only in Stephensville)! But this Friday was different, daddy wanted chicken. Off we went to KFC/Taco Bell. Mommy and daddy thought I was asleep, so they ate in the 4Runner. I let them take a few bites before I started crying. I was tired. Afterall, it was after 9pm. Now the whole way home daddy said KFC wasn't worth it and he remembers why it's been 5 years since he ate there.

This is me playing with Baxter for a little bit before we left for KFC.

After that, I decided to drink a little milk. I really drank alot of milk today.

Well it's time for me to go to bed.....

so much for that - I just woke up. I guess I'll go outside and see if daddy caught any fish - he's fishing off the pier with Mr. Max.

Just another day in the neighborhood

What do you think of my new hat? Maw-maw let’s me play with all the Tupperware in her cabinet. I guess that also includes the colander. I had a lot of fun with this thing…. I laughed and laughed all afternoon long.

It was time to go home after mommy visited with Maw-Maw and Grandpa for a few minutes. As usual, I made a mad dash to the back yard. I learned today that if you turn this thing it goes round and round.

OH YEA… how ‘bout them shorts? Mommy said they would be a little long.
As soon as we got home, mommy and I went jogging. After we jog, we generally water the flowers and visit with the neighbors for a little bit.

This is Alyssa practicing for her talent show today. If mommy was still on vacation, we’d go to the talent show with the rest of the neighbors. BUT… she’s at work.
If you noticed, neighbor “Dave” (David) and Kyle (sitting on the ground) are playing with a ball in the background of Alyssa’s picture. They are throwing it on the roof of the house and letting fall down.
Now, I’ve got the ball… And neighbor Dave is chasing me. He’s one crazy dude!

Since I turned one this week, I decided to start trying new things. Mommy thinks I can’t drink from a straw. TRY AGAIN!

Here I am asking for more… Actually, I’m taking it!
If mommy and daddy didn’t already know, they were in trouble. This is what I think of studying! Justin was studying for his last two finals until I took his note card.

Good luck on your test Justin! I hope you knew what was on that note card.

Last but not least, Sconner!!!! His name is Scooter, but we call him Sconner. The owners of Sconner do not treat him very well. They keep him locked in a kennel OUTSIDE all day long while they are at work. If he’s not locked up in that kennel, he’s wondering around the neighborhood looking for a good home. He is two years old, mixed (Lapso Apso / Poodle) and VERY VERY VERY sweet. He is somewhat housebroken. If you take him out, he will go. If not, he will still go….just inside. He’s good with kids and other dogs (just not that male cat at Pattie’s). HAHAHA Logan and Baxter love him. We would keep him, but we have two dogs already. Even though the two we have are all I can handle, I still considered taking him into our home. He is that sweet!

OH… Have I mentioned the owners really don’t care that we are trying to find a good home for Sconner?

From Sconner.... I hear there is a really nice home in River Bend "The Blanchard" home. BUT...there's this real mean man...named Dean -- he won't let me in. PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE Mr. Dean. I'm alot like Baxter!

Birthday Boy!

WOW… it seems like yesterday when I was in mommy’s belly. I arrived in this world on Monday, May 25, 2009 at 5:53 p.m. (Memorial Day). What a memory it was… we’ll for everyone else that is… Mommy tells me her water broke just after midnight on the 25th (due date) and I arrived SEVERAL hours later. As you can see, it was worth the wait!!!

Since I turned a year old, I had my first taste of whole milk. YUMMY… Mommy and daddy each drink a gallon of milk a week, so I really had no choice but to like it. Now mommy will have to purchase three gallons of milk.
You know what taste good with milk? Grits! Me and mommy had them for breakfast.

Daddy has to work nights this week. At least he was able to play with me during the day on my birthday. We played so hard… I had to take a little nap with Woody.

Did I mention it was MY birthday? If so, why did daddy purchase this for himself?

It’s okay, because mommy gave me some later that evening. Speaking of sweets… Aunt Sista stopped by with some of this…

and some cotton candy. Mommy didn’t want me to have any cotton candy, but I enjoyed both. Aunt Sista never listens to mommy – I’ve got to remember that!

This is me feeding myself ice cream…YUMMY! Mommy had to give me a bath when I was done eating it.
I’m feeling a lot better now, but I gave my illness to mommy. AND I’m not sleeping in my bed anymore. I kinda got use to sleeping in the living room with mommy. She keeps telling me I need to sleep in my bed, but I’ll just keep waking up at night screaming for as long as I can. After all, don’t I always get what I want?

You know it...Life with Logan -- there's never a dull moment.

What a week!

If you haven't heard, I started getting sick on Monday, May 17. Mommy brought me to the doctor on Tuesday (Dr. Schwartzenburg was off) and I was diagnosed with Roseola (white blood count was 2.8). Dr. Kelleher told me to make an appointment with Dr. Schwartzenburg on Friday to make sure my white blood count was going up.

Needless to say, I didn't make it to Jordan's graduation ceremony. However, mommy took some pictures. Here's Jordan in the church. Mommy said they were sitting right next to him and he refused to look at the camera!

Here's Jordan and Jordan at the reception.

Now it's Friday, May 21 and I'm off to The Pediatric Clinic to see Dr. Schwartzenburg.

They have to check my blood which means I've got to get another stick -- I HATE it when they stick me. GOOD NEWS! My white blood count is going up -- 3.7 (normal is 7 to 17). I'm still running fever, but Dr. Schwartzenburg doesn't think I have Roseola...he thinks it's a viral infection and I should get better this weekend. GOOD because I've got a big birthday party!

We'll... it's not GOOD. I started having a wet cough and runny nose Friday night. Mom called the nurse over the weekend and they said to make an appointment with Dr. Schwartzenburg on Monday.

In the mean time, I've got a party on Sunday. WHAT A PARTY!!! I got lots of cool stuff.

Mommy and daddy got me this really big toy box. I think they expected me to get lots of toys on my birthday. MAN... they were right!

One of my gifts can't go in this box -- it's in a frame (A LIFETIME hunting and fishing license)! THANKS Nona and Pops -- they also got me this....

It's got my name and date of birth on the back. It's pretty cool. We'll that's because I'm a cool kid.

Everybody knows I how much I like to play outside. Aunt Sista and Tante got me the same gift. HAHAHA Mommy was going to take one to the camp, but daddy said no. So, we'll bring one back and get another cool toy.

Tante and Knok also got me lots of clothes. I wasn't impressed, but mommy sure did like them.

Aunt Sista and Uncle Roger got me some clothes, bath toys and a mickey mouse toy that you put blocks in. Check out Woody and Buzz...

This is from Jordan... He picked it out just for me. It already scared mommy!!! HAHAHA

Maw-maw and Grandpa got me a bike that grows with me. It's got a radio, turning signals and a horn. I play with the turning signals.

and this 4 Wheeler... I can already push the button myself.

After I opened all my presents, I enjoyed a little cake!

Now it's Monday and mommy brought me back to see Dr. Schwartzenburg. Yeap, they stuck me again. This time my white blood count was 4.8!! Dr. Schwartzenburg was happy that it was going up. Now, he thinks I just have a really bad cold AND mommy has it too! That's probably because I will only sleep on her chest at night. ME...we'll I'm getting alot better. I've been playing with all my toys, daddy and Baxter all day.

You know it... there's never a dull moment when I'm around!!!

Typical Monday

It’s a short week for me and maw-maw. Mommy is on vacation starting TOMORROW! Mommy called when I was taking a nap yesterday.

Unsual picture….

Before I took my nap, I walked into the bathroom, grabbed this towel/floor mat, walked over to maw-maw (carrying the towel) and put my hands up wanting her to rock me. I wanted my blanket and mommy forgot to pack it.

Aunt Sista stopped by for a short visit yesterday afternoon. She said she came over to see me, but I’m sure she just wanted to watch Young and the Restless with me and Maw-maw. All she does is kiss all over me…that’s starting to get a little old.

Whenever mommy got to maw-maw’s house the first thing I wanted was to go outside. I’m really glad maw-maw and grandpa made this fish pond. I really like it. Yes, no pants AGAIN! Maw-maw forgot to put some on me before mommy got there.

After I went jogging with mommy and daddy, me and daddy started playing with the bubbles.

Auntie Angela, Unlce David, Kyle and Maddie got me an early birthday gift. I really like it -- it's a lawnmover that makes bubbles.

I decided to help cut the grass....

Check out those arms!

Tonight I'm going to be able to play with Nona and Pops for a little bit. They are coming over to watch me while mommy and daddy goes to Jordan's graduation. After the ceremony, Nona and Pops are going to bring me to the reception, so I can visit with Jordan. Mommy said it should be a really nice ceremony. Aunit Sista helped decorate the gym last nite. Here's a taste of what the gym will look like... it's Jordan and Jordan (his girlfriend).

Never a dull moment with Logan is around...

Busy Weekend

WOW… what a weekend. If you can remember, my friend, Leah, and her mom and dad were coming to see us from Florida. Mr. Phil and Leah came to visit us Thursday evening. Leah and I went for a wagon ride – we had fun together.

Later on, we ate some pizza and took a bath together. We won’t mention that Mr. Phil “forgot” to check Leah’s diaper! OOPS!!!

Friday night we all went out to eat at The Chimes. Daddy was having trouble eating…maybe this is why?

Not me, I didn’t have a problem eating – as usual! I had a bottle and a little of red beans, grill cheese and a bread roll. Needless to say, it didn’t all agree with my belly. But.. that’s okay. I enjoyed it anyway.

OH. Did I mention I made tons of noise? Mr. Phil realized that all the people with children and those of color were sat upstairs!?! Maybe it’s because they knew we would be a noisy bunch.

Onto Saturday… Since Leah and I are only a week apart, mommy got us a cake to celebrate our birthdays together. We also had a crawfish boil for all mommy and daddy’s friends. Everyone wanted to visit with Phil, Danielle and Leah.

I’ve learned that Leah is a lot calmer than I am. Mommy asked me not to get into the cake, but I couldn’t help myself. I was only practicing for my real cake next weekend.

It hasn’t rained in SEVERAL days, and we really needed rain. BUT it didn’t have to rain on our crawfish boil. I just didn’t understand WHY mommy wouldn't let me run in the rain. SO WHAT if it was thundering and lightning. Since I won’t listen and demanded on running around, she strapped me into my wagon. HOWEVER, there were some cute girls there so I really didn’t mind it.

This is me and Kamryn… Man – she’s a cute one!

Check out her sisters… Karley (awake) and Kenley (sleeping). Yeap, twins!

Here’s a picture of me and Tante. Can you believe I was able to stay still? I think it was because Mr. Glenn took this picture.

Here I am trying to attack Leah! I need to learn how to share my stuff.

A bunch of people kept asking about a “pole”. Mommy said “No,” but daddy got it out. I think there is some history behind this pole. Apparently every get together the pole was taken out and people would dance around it. Not anymore… it’s a whole new group.

Sunday… Maw-maw cooked rice and gravy and invited everyone over for lunch. Daddy was taking a nap and Aunt Sista was working, so it was only me, mommy, maw-maw and grandpa. Since my wagon was at home, Grandpa created another one for me.

Mom said it looked like I was in a parade. Like I said…WOW – what a weekend!

This week Jordan graduates from St. Alphonsus and is getting ready to start Catholic High. He said he’s getting the Most Handsome award and it’s in the mail HAHAHA… I’ll get mommy to take lots of pictures.

What can I say, Life with Logan...we'll there's never a dull moment.
